Wilting

Without a comparative perspective, some things can look much bigger than they are. I noticed that when I snapped this picture this morning img_9299and I thought there was a lesson there. Perhaps when we look at certain situations, we wilt at the size it appears to be but if we compare that situation to what we have already seen GOD do for us . . . we square our shoulders and lift our heads.
Let’s do that today.

But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,
my glory, and the lifter of my head.  Psalm 3

I encourage you to read the whole Psalm.

Prayer Journaling on the Fourth, 2023

What to do today? July 4.
America’s birthday, they say. I am thankful, and grateful to live here. I am grateful and give thanks today for every Real Follower of JESUS who lives here in this Country – the few, very few there may be.

There is opulence and luxury here but now in these winter years how rich is this Country, really? It doesn’t seem rich to me in what matters. In what matters She seems a pauper to me. Poor in all that is eternal. Pompous and arrogant, flaunting sin like it is good. Even CHURCHED people are raucous in sin and unbelief. So quick to be entertained and distracted and indulgent in the same attractions as the world (pagans if you please). And if not participating, applauding or at the least closing eyes and mouths.

Freedom!
A people FREE TO SIN.
Where is the freedom FROM sin?
That Freedom attained only by the BLOOD of The LORD YESHUA (JESUS the CHRIST) BOUGHT for us with His SINLESS Life, HIS Death, and HIS RESURRECTION!
Where’s the allegiance to that Freedom? Where are the fireworks to celebrate the freedom to overcome sin, shame, selfishness, and idolatry? Who is celebrating this FREEDOM today? I know some of you are and for you, I am celebrating! 470858_480p_posters17

AND I’m not raining on cook-outs with family and friends, or giving thanks for the voluminous opportunities afforded to every person walking the sod we call America. I’m not begrudging happy faces and full tummies. Like I began this piece, I am grateful to have been born here, to live here, but these days I wonder if the blessings of America have become Her Curse.

Freedom!
It’s vital.
It’s waning.

It Hurt

I am not here to publicly embarrass anyone. If I were, I would send this directly to Facebook, front and center on my personal page, because it was on my Facebook that the (unmodified) picture below was posted.
I checked out the original Poster’s page – it hurt.  I won’t return there.

It bleeds my spirit that multitudes of people today give testimony that they believe they can have GOD’s favor and forgiveness and live any way they choose, disobeying His Word daily.

It’s not so, People. It’s not so.

GOD commands His Children to practice holiness and obedience to His Scripture, and if we are not doing that, we need to REPENT immediately and we can be sure of this:
HE is NOT number 1 to any one of us if we are not practicing Biblical obedience, consistently daily.

Here’s the subject Facebook post.
I redacted the Facebook page names, wrote the caption, lettered in white script, and added a couple of flowers for covering.

We must be careful how we live.

Two Verses Plus

As I open this page, it’s too late to be staring at a computer screen so I plan to be quick.
Just here to say hi and provide us with a passage of Father’s Word to use today however He directs us.

Seek the Lord while you can find him.
Call on him now while he is near.
Let the wicked change their ways
and banish the very thought of doing wrong.
Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them.
Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.  Isaiah 55: 6-7

The whole of the chapter is a worthy read. I hope you will seize the time and read it.  HERE

LORD willing, see you again soon. 73388-Tuesday-Morning
