Glory on a Page

I am eager to share this with you.

Leviticus 5

This Old Testament depiction of New Testament deliverance is glory on a page.

The early verses of the Chapter set some groundwork.
We are born guilty but without knowledge of it; as we age it gnaws at us that we are not RIGHT with GOD.  See verse 4

At the time of this passage, sin offerings were brought and the priest would offer the sacrifice and make atonement for the sinner.

5 If someone incurs guilt in one of these ways, he must confess the sin he has committed,  6 and he must bring his guilt offering to the LORD for the sin he has committed: a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering. And the priest will make atonement for him concerning his sin.  source

And the priest will make atonement for him concerning his sin.

23 The former priests, on the one hand, existed in greater numbers because they were prevented by death from continuing, 24 but Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. 25 Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7 source

Guilt is established. The need for forgiveness is established. Our need for a priest, a mediator between us and God is established.  Our need to be forgiven is established.

And here on an Old Testament page is glory for me.

Verses 10, 13, 16, and 18. Four times we read these glorious words:

you will be forgiven

You will be forgiven!

When the BLOOD of JESUS the CHRIST is applied to our sin account, we are forgiven!

WE ARE FORGIVEN!
The sinners part?
Come.
When you are made aware of your sin by HOLY SPIRIT, don’t run from the Priest, run to HIM and accept HIS offer and You Will Be Forgiven!

Glory on a Page!!

Until Next Time, with Holy hugs, Kathie

Insurance, Assurance

A sentence settled in this morning and does not appear to be leaving.

JESUS does not issue fire insurance policies.

Praying the sinner’s prayer as it has been called for ages, because we are afraid of going to hell is not salvation.
We don’t get saved because we are afraid of going to hell. Now it does point us in the right direction toward salvation.  Of that, I am certain and grateful.

We get saved because we have had enough of carrying around the conviction and filth of sin and we have come to know we cannot save ourselves and we have become certain JESUS’ Sacrifice and Resurrection is enough to save even me (and you).   It’s a GIFT.
Faith is a gift! And when it is offered to you by HOLY SPIRIT, accept it immediately!  You have no guarantee He will offer it to you again.
Here’s a LINK to some Scripture to help explain. salvation

Father GOD, it seems to me there are people, perhaps a lot of them, who do not want to go to hell; they want a way out of hell — who wouldn’t want to escape that place of heinous torment?  But do they want YOU? Do they want YOU cleaning up the way they think and do? Do they know that their sins are not just bad but deadly? Do they know that being sinners means we deserve hell? Do they know that YOU want to save them not just from hell but death and corruption and evil and practicing evil? Do people know that sin is evil? That their sins are evil?  Oh, Father, I want them so much to KNOW this. Not because I want to condemn them and hurt them and put them down. No. I want them to KNOW YOU. I want them to live. I want them to be free. To learn to practice sin less and less. I want them to not only miss hell but NOT MISS YOU.  And yet this I know JUST me telling them is not enough, YOU, HOLY SPIRIT, must convict them, and then when they agree with You, assure them that YOU have forgiven them and received them as YOUR OWN. Please do this for any Lost One who comes to this page and every Lost One that I have on my mind right now. Thank You, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, YESHUA HaMASHIACH. Father GOD, thank You for saving me, thank You for keeping me saved, and thank You for helping me every day. Amen and amen.

JESUS does not issue fire insurance policies.

You get JESUS when you come to JESUS, for JESUS.

Wrong, Following

Hello Friends, What a lovely Tuesday it is here in Lower Alabama and I hope it stays lovely to the end of the day and this post.
With that said, I offer this caveat: if this post goes as I suspect it will it shall not be a favored one for persons easily offended.
Blunt and to the point is on its way to this page I think.

Every day, day after day and night after night the people of this world shout with clenched fits thrust upward that GOD is wrong, and they are right.

How do the peoples of Earth do this?
Sin.

Every act of adultery says GOD, You are wrong!
Every act of fornication says GOD, You are wrong!
Every act of homosexuality says GOD, You are wrong!
Every act of gender confusion (as it is termed) says GOD, You are wrong!

Every lie, every theft, every covetous thought, every murder, every rape, every malicious word, every calloused action, every unholy thought we entertain, and every ungodly act we perform says GOD, You are wrong!

GOD, You are wrong!

How could we?!

How could HE?!!
How could He not immediately drop us all into Everlasting Torment?
Do you ever wonder that or are you still of the mind that your sins are not that bad?

That was me for many years.
So I can’t fault you for it,  but I can tell you it is wrong and deadly.

What’s the answer?
Repentance and FOLLOW JESUS.

And that my Friends brings me to another convicting string of thoughts.

The Disciples of The Gospel, found in Scripture, FOLLOWED JESUS. Even when they were not physically in His Presence, they followed Him because they did what He instructed them to do. Read the Gospels and you will see what I mean.

What Would JESUS Do? Do you remember that saying? It was written on bracelets, plastered on billboards, and voiced from pulpits. Even today we are told to “love like JESUS”.
But are we given practical steps to do that?
And how could “man” give us practical steps to love like JESUS anyway?
What does man know about loving like JESUS?

The Disciples FOLLOWED JESUS.
Are we getting that? They FOLLOWED.
What does follow mean?

Let’s look at this:  1.a. To come or go after; proceed behind: b. To go after in pursuit c. To keep under surveillance
2. a. To move along the course of; take b. To move in the direction of; be guided by

What do you take away from this?
I see the Disciples literally following JESUS around all over Judea, wherever He went they went.
featured-upper-room-jesus-riding-donkeyAnd when He gave them instructions to go and do they went and did.  i.e. get the colt. Prepare the upper room.

And we might say, Well, we don’t have JESUS physically here with us, we can’t follow Him around.

Is that true?
Do we have HOLY SPIRIT living within us?
Can we not follow HIM? Can we not be guided by Him?
John 14:26 and Acts 1:8

It’s a NEW picture playing on the screen of my mind too.
But I like it!
I am eager to see how He helps me consistently FOLLOW JESUS.
I figure it will take some time to get this revelation seated and consistently operating but I want it!

That’s it. That’s what I came to say.

Oh wait, I need to tie these two points together, don’t I?
In SIN we say, GOD, You are wrong. This means one thing: we are NOT following JESUS.

Terribly offensive, isn’t it?
BUT GOD has made a way —

Until next time ~~~ Shalom, Kathie

And They Would Not

Revelation 9

20 The rest of mankind, those who were not killed by these plagues, even then did not turn from what they had made with their own hands — they did not stop worshipping demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk.21 Nor did they turn from their murdering, their involvement with the occult and with drugs, their sexual immorality or their stealing. source
