Parts . . .

Good Morning, Family and Friends.
I have been reading from The Psalms this morning. As I have said previously, I am continuing to read the Bible through. I hope to begin 2025 with The Proverbs.

But today I am here with something to consider from Psalm 143.

GOD’s part – our part.

7 Answer me quickly, O LORD; my spirit fails.  Do not hide Your face from me, or I will be like those who descend to the Pit.
8 Let me hear Your loving devotion in the morning, for I have put my trust in You. Teach me the way I should walk, for to You I lift up my soul.

9 Deliver me from my enemies, O LORD; I flee to You for refuge.
10 Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.  source Psalm 143

I see verse 7 as an urgent cry for help; a desperate situation we think we won’t live through, so we call on The LORD. And naturally, we want Him to answer quickly.
Now let’s get to the HIS part, our part.  We want His loving devotion in the morning and all day long and we can have it — here’s our part: I have put my trust in You. To know the loving devotion of The Father, we have to trust Him. If we lack trust, we will doubt His loving devotion toward us.
If we want Him to teach us the way we should walk, we garaden+path+curve-2293325470 have a part in that and our part is to lift our soul to Him — that is all our emotions we check with Him. When feelings come, when desires come, we take them to Him, and we see what His Word says — are these worthy and holy or not. And if not, in His power and grace, we reject them.  And day by day we learn from Him how we should walk.  It’s a perfect system.
Next. Deliver me from my enemies. Who are my enemies? My flesh, the world’s systems, and the principalities and rulers of darkness. (See Ephesians 6: 10-12)
GOD’s part: Deliverance. He delivers!
My part, your part: Flee. Run to The Father for His Strength to say NO to the temptation, whatever it is. No, I’m not doing that!
Oh, the taste of Victory!!
Teach me to do Your Will and why would He do that? Because HE is our GOD. Why would He lead us? Because HE is good. There is no darkness in Him at all. HE is worthy of our trust. HE is worthy of our sole allegiance.

HIS part. Our part.
Something to ponder, don’t you think?

Day 1 – Good as Done

img_3459It’s late but I dare not wait till the morning . . .  why? Because right now it is still Day 1.
Day 2 is fast approaching and I have not a clue what will be written here for Day 2. I am hoping I do indeed write something for Day 2. smile1

Luke 1

Verse 67.
Zechariah was filled with Holy Spirit and he prophesied.
What was his prophesy? Begin with Verse 68 and see.

As you read it, please note he is speaking in past tense!
He says: GOD has visited His People. GOD has redeemed His People.

And in verse 69 he continues with past tense language!
He has raised up a horn of Salvation in the house of David.

And then in verse 76 he begins to speak over his 8-day-old son.
He says of him, you will go before The LORD to prepare the way for Him.

Do you know that at the time these words were spoken JESUS – YESHUA would not be delivered from His Mother’s womb for another 6 months?
Do you know what this means?
Zechariah KNEW The LORD was already here on planet Earth, He knew He had already left Heaven.

He knew that salvation, (redemption) was as good as done as it would be done when it was done

GOD keeps His Word!
When He says it, it is as good as done even before we see it done.

On a side note, do you know what else this means?
Babies are BABIES at conception.

DAY 1!

21 Days to Hatch

Do you know a hen sits on her eggs, keeping them warm until they hatch?
It takes about 21 days. I’ve not been sitting on this for 21 days but today I think it’s hatching time. Drum roll, please. Ta Da! img_4086-1

Here’s the TEXT that came to mind when I saw this some days ago on Facebook.

John 15:18 If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first.
19 If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
20 Remember the word that I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they kept My word, they will keep yours as well.

21 But they will treat you like this because of My name, since they do not know the One who sent Me.
22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.
23 Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well.
24 If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.
25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated Me without reason.’
26 When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—He will testify about Me.
27 And you also must testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning LINK

Okay. Now that you have read the TEXT, what about Christmas does the WORLD love?
