Luke 1 26 In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth,

Can you imagine the stir in heaven as God the Father gives instruction to Gabriel to go to earth with this news??

27 to a virgin engaged to a man named Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. via Luke 1:26-38,42-48 HCSB – Gabriel Predicts Jesus’ Birth – In – Bible Gateway.

So personal!

The GOD of this Universe is PERSONAL. Take HIM personally!!

HE does you.

What glorious news!

Every soul acts out their desire for personal attention and GOD came down from Heaven to give it – what could be more sinful and horrid to refuse Him??

I am pondering as I look at LUKE. 

I am just starting to read Warren Wiersbe’s the Bible Exposition Commentary (via Logos) [as relates to the book of Luke – not the whole thing – yet :) ] and right out of the gate I began chasing rabbits, part of which is coming to The White Stone to share with you.

Wiersbe said the key theme of the book of Luke is Our Lord’s journeys as the Son of man. 

May I tell you I immediately liked the way that read and then I was off. Here’s where:

When we are anticipating a journey, we make plans. Plans as to when we will leave home, where we are going, what we will do while we are there, what we will need while there and when we will return home. So tell me, did God do this as well as He prepared for His journey from Heaven to Earth and back to Heaven again?

Something to ponder, isn’t it?

And by the way Wiersbe said the key verse in Luke is Luke 19:10

10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
via Luke 19:10 KJV – For the Son of man is come to seek and – Bible Gateway.

of what has been occupying me this morning. 

First I began with Beth Moore — Wednesdays with Beth. Click HERE to see and hear.  Listen for Age of Posers.  We live in a time of Posers – let us NOT be Posers.

Next I caught some of the 700 Club.  Click HERE for the particular news story.  And from this news story I am thinking where are the NOAHs? Am I a Noah? Am I sounding the alarm that JESUS is Coming? And who is listening? Are the peoples of the world, especially sects of Americans, like the people in Noah’s day –Laughing at him until the rain began to fall?

We know the answer to that, don’t we? Here it is.

2 Timothy 3 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

This know also: that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, without selfcontrol, fierce, despisers of those who are good,
4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. From such turn away.
6 For of this sort are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

And so that wrapped and brought me here to give you something to think about.

Luke 21: 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
via Luke 21:27-29 KJV – And then shall they see the Son of man – Bible Gateway.

Be wise, be discerning, be ready and be telling.
