Home and In Love!

I am home and in love and more in love.

Savannah, Georgia, particularly the Historic District and more particularly The Mulberry Inn have etched a place in my soul.  I am longing to return there, this time with my beloved husband and the two of us stay for a few days. I’ve even reminded the LORD that Hubby and I will be glad to minister the Gospel as we walk, visiting those beautiful places. :) He knows I’m not kidding!

And then it was on to North Charleston, South Carolina. We saw very little of South Carolina but we heard ABBA through His choice servant, Beth Moore, and that made the many miles worth it all. Beth was tough on us and we needed it! That’s why I say I am home more in love.

And this morning I began a new study. A Housewife Desperate for God by Mariel Davenport. And with the Introduction and Day One I am delighted! I hope you will check it out and see what it’s about for yourself.

One of the passages Mariel took me to today was 2 Timothy 3:16-17. A very familiar passage. You know it well, don’t you?

2 Timothy 3:16-17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

See that word adequate? How many times have you felt inadequate? If you are like me, many! How many times have you put yourself down, speaking how inadequate you are? If you are like me, many! Shame on us!

We are more than adequate! We are equipped! In JESUS name we are equipped for every good work He has called us to – today!

How’s that for good news?!

Earlier this morning as I was praying for three precious women (Kerri, Dori, Pam) in my life, I was about to head into some not profitable thinking. You see these three women have LONG ON GOING illnesses, often with excruciating pain; and now one in particular who is confined to chair or bed has minimal eyesight. She can’t read or look at computer screens. And so I was about to say, LORD, she does not deserve this, she didn’t do anything  to cause this to come upon her.  And then — came this:

3 Jesus answered, “Neither hath this man sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

So I pray still for healing for them and that we all will see His Glory in this. And with trusting hearts, no doubt we will.

I am heading out this morning for Living Proof Live in North Charleston, South Carolina with three others who love JESUS. Your prayers for traveling mercies would be appreciated; but most of all that we will have fresh encounters with the Living CHRIST is much more coveted.

Grace and peace from Heaven to YOU this morning.

From Whom in Heaven?

JESUS CHRIST – He who IS.
Is for you and me today.

Who WAS – Who was from eternity past – Who ALWAYS HAS BEEN! Never a time He was not.

Who is TO COME – He who is in our future – forever and ever. Who is TO BODILY COME for us to take us where He BODILY is forever.

But that is not all!

He is RULER of the kings of the earth.  No emperor, king, or ruler of any kind! is in charge! Only JESUS!
I don’t know about you but I need this Good Morning from Heaven this morning!! And every morning! How about you remind me in the morning or even later on today?  :)

Who LOVES US and HAS RELEASED us from our sins by HIS BLOOD!
LOVES us! Really loves us AND has released us from our sins! From the penalty AND power AND presence! It’s in past tense because it is His promise and His promise is as good as done even before we experience it. Do you believe that?

I dare :) you to let this Good Morning from Heaven settle in on you today!
