Lassoed

Just a Sunday morning hello 34713ef48dc4c42c53ae0edf1e4121e7written on Saturday night.

I lassoed some time to catch up with my beautiful niece this evening and in the course of conversing, we expressed gratitude for the same blessing. A HOT SHOWER.

Just give it a few minutes of thought and you will see what we mean. It’s one of the greatest blessings we have in this opulent America.

Yes, a hot shower means we have a place, an abode with running water, not just running water but HOT running water; which means we have a power source to heat the water and faucets and pipes to conduct that water to us and if we have the strength and ability to get in and out of that shower without assistance we have reason to be doubly grateful. And don’t forget the towel and wash cloth and soap and the bath mat to step out on.  And the floor! Tile, wood, vinyl, concrete — whichever it may be. Sheer opulence, my Friends. Sheer Opulence.

Let us give Thanks.

This is not a blanket endorsement for the song or singer, it just fits well today, I think. :)

Take care, my Friends, Kathie

Open Road

I just want to say hello with some Fall Pics.  There’s something special about an Open Road that leads you back home.  Enjoy my Friends.

Whatcha Think?

img_0261-1As you see, I brought this here from another source, and I have removed names, even though it was a Public Post I prefer to not disclose the sources.

Would you be concerned if a friend of yours posted this to their Facebook page?

Yes? No? Why?

What did JESUS say would be a sign that we love GOD?
Let me direct you to just one passage, there are more. John 14:15-31.

Please be careful what you take hold of as truth; HERE or any place. I urge you to line up all that you hear or read with: What does the Bible say?

What is a Christian?

What makes one a Christian?
How do you know for sure if you are a Christian?

Does the Bible give a Christian the option of being “a not a very good example of one”?

Means to Meet

I can believe people are hungry for love, normalized fornication and everyday adultery prove people want to be loved but they are clueless that love is not found in sin.
What is sin anyway?
Simply, it is meeting a legitimate need in an illegitimate way.

Do we not know that GOD is and was aware of our needs before we were?!
And that He provided legitimate means to meet those needs?

But alas we don’t like His Ways. They often involve a waiting period which means: discipline!

That is not a friendly word in our world, is it?
Albeit, runners (and walkers) are well familiar with this word, discipline.
It’s par for their course; yet for the joy set before them, they take it on gladly.

I’d like to be wrong but I don’t think I am when I say people are not looking for answers, not looking for truth. They are looking for validation.
They want to keep doing what they are doing and be told they are right in the doing of it.

Who could blame them?
GOD.

And HE has and that is the message of Scripture.

TURN FROM YOUR SINS TO GOD.

Who do you know wants to hear that?

And what will it take to get people to where they are willing to hear that message?

That’s what I am wondering about this beautiful Saturday afternoon.

Honestly, I get weary of these questions and wonderings. I know they are not popular. But they keep coming.wake up world
And I keep hoping someone will wake up and smell the Tribulation and flee the Coming Wrath and receive The Testimony and The Righteousness of YESHUA and be delivered from death to LIFE.

It was more than 20 years ago and I am still convinced HOLY SPIRIT tenderly and firmly impressed on me (I remember precisely where I was, seated at a table with other precious choir members when the message came) that churched people do not take GOD seriously.

HE does NOT approve.

What would taking GOD seriously walk out like in your life today?

I’m not there yet, but I’m looking for Sisters and Brothers to come along with me on this journey.
