What Time Is It?

Second Monday of 2021.

Click. Click. Click. Time marches on. Year after year. For now.

How about a little reading this morning? When you read it put some soul in it. Read it like it means something to you.

2 Chronicles 15  (NKJV)
1 Now the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded.

And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.
For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law;
but when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them.
And in those times there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands.
So nation was destroyed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every adversity.
But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!”
And when Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and removed the abominable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities which he had taken in the mountains of Ephraim; and he restored the altar of the Lord that was before the vestibule of the Lord
Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who dwelt with them from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon, for they came over to him in great numbers from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him. source  Emphasis – mine.

Removing the idols is not enough — the altar must be rebuilt.

The Cat and Mouse Game

Let’s talk about death.
We might as well. It’s inevitable.
Hebrews 9:(NKJV)
27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, source

A two-mile walk is good for spiritual conversation. I took such a walk today and death came up. Actually, I brought it up praying for people who have Covid.
Death is something satan enjoys.
He actually has plans to kill us all and the more painful the better from his point of view. I imagine he stays up at night figuring ways to murder and torture people to death. That’s his job and he is good at it. Relishes it even I imagine.

Is it any wonder that 56 MILLION people die each year?
That is according to the website linked just above 1.80 people die EVERY SECOND.
That’s a whole lot of dying.
So, shouldn’t we talk about it?

From my walking conversation, I have settled in with certain thoughts.
Every day that we are not mutilated and killed in this evil world with rampant godlessness is a miracle. It is an Act of GOD that you and I are still breathing.
Just this week a dear and lovely Brother in Christ died. The Father could have kept him here longer, but He didn’t. This time the Father allowed this dear one’s breath to escape and not return to him.

EACH Christian dies when GOD says, ‘You can come home this time’. No doubt on many, many occasions the evil one had desired and planned to kill him and each time GOD said NO. Why did GOD say okay this time? I don’t know.
This is what I hope for myself. I hope as soon as I have done all the Kingdom work I can do, I immediately get the call to come home
You see I think that GOD is not obligated to keep lost people alive.
I think He is not obligated to stop the evil one from killing them BUT I BELIEVE HE OFTEN DOES.

Further, I believe that satan can try but until my Father GOD is ready for me to leave this planet nothing satan can do to me will take me out.
I’m not saying there will be no damage or pain or sickness or disease but I am saying until My Father agrees I’m not leaving here.
I believe this for all my brothers and sisters in the Faith too.

I believe we are protected from all eternal harm; obviously, not all temporary pain but all eternal harm.
That’s not true for people who have said “no thank you” to the Holy Spirit’s offer of salvation. GOD is not obligated to keep satan from harming them. But testimony after testimony shows in His grace HE often does.
I wonder why. I have a theory. Do you?

For people continuing to choose to walk their own way, ignoring GOD, ignoring the good plans He has for them, ignoring His offer of eternal life, they may discover they have been subject to the cat and mouse game.
You know how a cat plays with a mouse for as long as it’s fun or until the mouse dies from all the ‘fun’?

John 3:16 (AMP)
16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. source

Perhaps There is Time

First I am set to remind you, those of you who might not know me well enough, I am neither a Scholar nor a Theologian, barely a Layperson. Today’s post is a WHAT IF post. A What if for you to consider prayerfully. A What If post that I hope encourages you to dig for yourself. That’s what I am doing. I dare say many may not like this post. I surely don’t. Let’s begin.

What if learned Scholars and well-studied Theologians have missed the message of Scripture?
What if what we have believed is not actually borne-out in Scripture?
What if The Rapture of the Church is not any day now?
What if The Rapture of the Church is not until Revelation 11?
I’m not saying it is, I’m saying What if?
I’m still mulling it over; still asking Adonai to talk to me about it.

What would it mean if this What If is what will be?
Perhaps you have read my suggestion that 2020 is a trailer to the Tribulation. A means for us to gain more clarity on how the coming days will play.
If The Rapture is not until after the Last Trumpet, that means we (unless we die prior) will see The Mark of the Beast. UNLESS, of course, the Last Hour is still many years away.

I am wondering how faithful, how strong would I be? How strong would you be?
Many Churches closed their doors because the Government said close.
The Government said, isolate, put on a mask, shut down your businesses, stay home.
We did.
We did that for a virus that has at its least rate of survival for aged persons with one or more comorbidities a 94.5% survival rate.  (And don’t forget the Vaccine. It’s already mandatory for some.)
I am confident what we have done so far is not equal to the Mark of the Beast, but it should tell us something about who we are, shouldn’t it?
How would we tell the Government no I will not let you put that chip in my hand? No, I will not bow to the god of this world even if you starve my children and me to death. The survival rate then is not 94.5%. And surely not 99.997%.
For those caught refusing, 100% die.

What if? What if many, many of us have been wrong?
Should we not today start preparing?
How do we even prepare for such an unthinkable event?
That’s a good question.

We have believed, many of us, that this passage is not talking about us because we have believed we won’t be here. What if we are?
I’m not learned enough to argue either way today. I thought I was. Now I am not so sure. Shouldn’t I be? Shouldn’t you be?

Revelation 12:11  (AMP) 11 And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. source

I do know this: it is not The LORD’s will for us to be afraid of this.
It is not The LORD’s will that we be sad, borrow trouble, have downcast faces and worried spirits.
It is His Will for us to overcome TODAY by the Word of our Testimony that The Blood of JESUS is enough to cleanse and save a wretch like any of us.

One more question. How much Scripture do we have sealed in our minds that we could call on it, lean on it and be embolden with it even if we didn’t have a cellphone to look it up or a Bible to hold in our hands to read?
I confess I am lacking BUT perhaps we have a few years to study and show ourselves approved

Some One Answers

This has been sounding off in my head this morning, so I am here.

I am more than, way more than okay with there being only one right answer.
That means I am either right or I can change my mind and get right

How often have we heard there is no wrong answer?
It’s generally an opener to a proposed discussion wherein it is perceived there will be differences of opinion and the originator does not want anyone to feel uncomfortable.

No wrong answers.
And when the question is – what’s your favorite color? There are surely no wrong answers.

Can opinions be right or wrong?  What is an opinion?
Perhaps you will visit this LINK and get a different opinion of opinions.

Are we a society that has decided opinions are facts?
