Not Piddling

As I have been piddling with laundry, coffee-sipping, and the like, my thoughts were here and there. One of those places was 2021. It is just days away. 
I’ve decided – if I shall get it accomplished is yet to be seen – I have two phrases I’d like to speak most in 2021. 

One. I love you.
Two. The Bible says in:

So. Let the practice begin!

The Bible says in John 14  (NKJV)1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.  source

I often run a word search at Bible Gateway dot com because my memory of Scripture verses doesn’t always contain the Biblical address – Book, chapter, verse. 
And so when I went looking for the address of the verse I had in mind, my eyes found another one and it won’t let me go. 

Zechariah 8:17 (AMP) 
17 And let none of you devise or even imagine evil in your heart against another, and do not love lying or half-truths; for all these things I hate,’ declares the Lord.”  source

How much explanation does that need? 

And now for the verse, I went looking to find and a few more.

I agree.
My main directive on earth as a redeemed daughter of The Most High is to honor Him and be available and useful in making the Name of Jesus known in this world. Psalm 105:1
All else is to take the second, third, or even fourth Chair.
Like it or not resisting evil at the voting booth, writing letters to Elected Officials, making phone calls, writing blog posts just to name a few IS part of making Jesus known in this sin-sick world.
Resisting evil and the works of darkness IS being available and useful in making Him known, especially when it intersects with politics.

8 No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. source
