Hurry

July 6 already!

Always in a hurry. Hurry rarely comes from GOD. 
I know about hurry. Hurry and I are well acquainted. We are too acquainted. I am praying for distance from hurry.  

I can think of only one time YESHUA told someone to hurry. 
Do you know who? 

Just this one time I remember Him saying hurry.  Hurry and come down. 
It is good for us to HURRY to JESUS.  To make haste. To hurry to JESUS in repentance.  Like immediately when sin raises its ugly self and we see it poised to take hold, make haste and run to JESUS for help. Help to repent. Help to live free! 

It is good for us to hurry to JESUS, but when we get to Him, stay and walk with Him timely – walk as slow as He leads; let us take in all He says to us. 

Hurry is almost always a waste, except when it is running to JESUS.

Guess what.
An attitude of gratitude makes housework easier.

I’m not kidding. I proved it today.

There were floors to dust mop, toilets to clean, sinks, countertops, dishes to wash, laundry, cooking  – you know those endless tasks. Endless because we do them over and over again. And we can complain about it – a lot. 
But why?

Did not The LORD tell us whatever we put our hands to do, to do it for Him? 

Ecclesiastes 9:10 Complete Jewish Bible
10 Whatever task comes your way to do, do it with all your strength; because in Sh’ol, where you will go, there is neither working nor planning, neither knowledge nor wisdom.  source
 
Colossians 3:23 New Living Translation
23 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.  source
 

Hey now, we can dust mop floors, clean counters, and all that other stuff already listed with a thankful heart.
Giving thanks that we can fellowship with JESUS while doing these things AND we can give thanks that we have floors and a roof and people on those floors, beneath that roof that we love.
AND we can train our children in the process (because yes they need to be taught to clean too). We can give praise out loud to our Gracious LORD as we work alongside those little ones – helping them with toys and clothes and whatever tasks they are ready to learn.  It will take holy practice for them and us! 

Believe it or not, Scripture does not say: cleanliness is next to godliness. However, if we look around at Creation we can easily see that our Creator is The GOD of orderliness, tidiness, etc. 

I really expect Heaven is beautiful, clean, and tidy. 
I think I best practice till I get there!   :)

Some One Answers

This has been sounding off in my head this morning, so I am here.

I am more than, way more than okay with there being only one right answer.
That means I am either right or I can change my mind and get right. 

How often have we heard there is no wrong answer?
It’s generally an opener to a proposed discussion wherein it is perceived there will be differences of opinion and the originator does not want anyone to feel uncomfortable. 

No wrong answers. 
And when the question is – what’s your favorite color? There are surely no wrong answers.  

Can opinions be right or wrong?  What is an opinion?
Perhaps you will visit this LINK and get a different opinion of opinions.

Are we a society that has decided opinions are facts? 

Back to this: Are not some One Answers the only Right answer?

The White Stone. She’s an old blog. She’s been around since 2007. Not kidding.

Three days ago came the bright idea to ask JT to post my blog posts to his Facebook page.
Boom!
People began finding The White Stone.  More one day traffic than in all our years.
I had heard that Facebook squelches reader audience for certain Facebook pages.
I am surprised to find mine is one of them.

So thank you so much for following my Love’s Facebook page.
