While Scripture is imperative to life everlasting and peace here; other writings are helpful and some are just flat-out wholesome pleasure.

Father GOD, it is reported that praying Your Word back to You is more than appropriate, that it is vital; that You will surely answer such prayers. So for my Readers, I ask that You, The GOD of hope, will fill them with all joy and peace. I acknowledge according to Your Word this joy and peace we are seeking comes when we trust You and that as we trust You we will overflow with hope, joy, and peace too, by Holy Spirit power. I want this for them and for myself. And in these days which you have privileged us to live, I am also asking that You give us endurance and encouragement; and that a spirit of unity be among us as Your children, as we follow Your Son JESUS. In these days, Father, we need one heart and one mouth – how else can we glorify You but this? So I pray, make it so in us. And, Father, if there be sick among us, I pray for strength to recover. I pray for resources and remedies and holy people to lay on hands of faith and pray for healing according to Your Word and Will for us in these last days.

It is not my intent to be flippant or any such the like but this struck me as just too cute. So I am sharing. I hope it makes you smile. Obviously, it did me.
